Trifonas would heal many illnesses and the tormented souls from the demons. When the emperor Gordian learned about the healing abilities of Trifonas, he asked him to heal his sick daughter. Indeed, the Emperor offered Trifonas money for his work and Trifon rejected the offer. Later, when Decius became an emperor he started persecuting the Christians. Trifonas was arrested and was condemned to death. He suffered a series of tortures and he was murdered.
